Carton Transfer Unit
CTU/STU
CTU (Carton Transfer Unit) is an autonomous robot that picks, carries and places totes and cartons. TP5 series models take up to 7 totes per trip, which shortens picking. TP6 series models handle single totes in racks up to 12 m high and travel at up to 3 m/s. Aisles from 1050 mm and tall racks let you store more goods on the same floor area.

- Load capacity depending on the model
- 12 m

- Travel speed (TP6 series)
Picking from tall racks
The gripper reaches totes from about 0.3 m up to 12 m, so the warehouse can grow upwards instead of outwards.
Double-deep reach and flexible loads
The telescopic gripper also picks totes from the second rack depth and adapts to different sizes of totes and cartons.
Load inspection
The robot checks the tote when picking and placing it, and FTM Monitor tracks every operation.
